Newmar Launches New Fifth Wheels

Newmar Corp. Nappanee Ind., unveiled its 2011 fifth-wheel line-up at its Kountry Klub Rally in Goshen, Ind., bringing back its legacy towable brands of Kountry Star and Kountry Aire. These will replace the Cypress and Torrey Pine brands respectively.
In addition, the toy hauler brand, X‐Aire has gone through significant changes for 2011.

College juniors Ross Albert and Johnathon Miles are the latest recipients of $2,500 scholarships from the RV Learning Center Scholarship Program, Fairfax, Va.
The RV Learning Center Scholarship Program recognizes deserving rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Applicants are judged on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and honors, RV industry involvement, financial need, and a 500-word essay. The program has awarded more than $50,000 to 20 students since its inception in 2000.
Patrick Industries Acquires Assets of Wiring & Electrical Products Distributor

The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of August. A purchase price was not disclosed.

Wireless Internet provider for the outdoor hospitality industry TengoInternet distributed $270,000 in guest WiFi revenue to its participating RV resort owners in 2009. This payout is part of TengoInternet's revenue-sharing program with resorts that choose to offer WiFi for a fee to their guests. Resorts that participate in TengoInternet's revenue-sharing program receive a monthly check for a percentage of the total WiFi access fees sold at their location.
