Panel to Explore State of RV Retail Financing at RVDI Expo

Top financing experts plan to explore the current RV retail lending environment during a special panel discussion Oct. 6 at the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo. The RVDI expo takes place Oct. 4-8 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
“Retail financing is a critical issue facing the RV industry right now,” said RVDA Convention/Expo’s chairman, Peter Albano. “This panel will provide RV dealers with valuable information that will help them understand what it takes to get more deals funded moving forward.”
Folkers Joins Winnebago as Assistant General Counsel

Scott C. Folkers has joined Winnebago Industries Inc., Forest City, Iowa, as assistant general counsel.
Folkers, 48, received his bachelors in business administration from the University of Iowa and his juris doctorate degree from the University of South Dakota, College of Law.
Prior to joining Winnebago Industries, Folkers was employed as in-house counsel for John Morrell & Co. in Sioux Falls, S.D. He previously worked as an associate attorney for Woods, Fuller, Shultz & Smith PC in Sioux Falls.
Patrick Industries Acquires Assets of Wiring & Electrical Products Distributor
Wed, 08/18/2010 - 11:33 | by BWorrellPatrick Industries Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire certain assets of Blazon International Group ("Blazon"), a distributor of various wiring, electrical, lighting, plumbing and other building products to the RV and MH industries. The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of August. A purchase price was not disclosed.
Cequent Parent Company Reports 21% Increase in Sales

Second quarter 2010 income from continuing operations was $15.2 million, a 54.8 percent improvement from $9.8 million in second quarter 2009.
