RV shipments totaled 76,000 units in the second quarter of 2010, the largest year-to-year gain in the past quarter century, according to Road Signs, the RV Industry Association’s quarterly RV shipments forecast. The second quarter gains were shared by travel traler and motorhomes, while folding camping trailers and truck campers posted more modest increases, the report noted.
With interest in RVing on the rise, the 16th Annual Northern California Fall RV Show and Sale will roll into the Alameda County Fairgrounds Sept. 24 through Oct. 3. This is the first time since the Great Recession hit that organizers will hold a fall event.
